Go to your root folder (My Computer>(C:)) and then go into these folders:
[C:\>Program Files>Image-Line>Fl Studio (5/6/7/8/9)>Data>Patches>Packs]
What is the difference between VST and VSTi?
VST's are usually effects and plugins, the "i" on VSTi stands for instrument. So a VSTi is a plugin that makes a actual sound. An example of a VSTi would be Hypersonic 2, and an example of a VST would be Auto Tune.
I downloaded a VST from your site, but I have no idea where to put it or how to see it!?
Follow these steps:
1. Go to [C:\>Program Files]
2. Create a new folder called "Vstplugins".
3. Put the .dll's in there.
4. Open FL Studio and go to [Options>File Settings> and at the bottom change the default search folder to [C:\Program Files\Vstplugins]
5. Go back in Fl Studio and press Channels
6. Go under "Add One" and press "More..."
7. In the bottom right hand corner, press "Refresh"
8. After pressing "Refresh", press "Fast Scan" and wait
9. Your new VSTs or VSTi's should show up in red. Press the "F" button to the left of it, and exit out of that window.
10. Press "Channels", "Add One" and select your new VST or VSTi.
